For those of you who know me, I can usually find an old song lyric that relates to nearly every situation. If you don’t recognize this one, it’s from Bob Seger’s Against The Wind. In this case it absolutely refers to the trap we often find ourselves in when we’re trying to do our best to please clients – they want it tomorrow and it’s really a month long project so we say “How about next week?”

Recipe for disaster usually. Have fun with this video – you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. We may still push ourselves, but ultimately to take the time to deliver the product promised rather than have to make the decision of what to leave in and what to leave out.
